1. PUMP MOTOR
P = ( gx Q x h )/(hx 3600 )
Dimana : P = Daya motor = W
g = berat spesifik fluida = N/m3
Q = kap pompa =( m3/hr )
H = head pompa = m
h = Total efisiensi motor dan pompa ( 0.5 – 0.7 )
Example untuk condensate pump
g = 11000 N/m3
Q = 30 m3/hr
H = 30 m
h = 0.55
P = ( 10000 x 30 x 30 )/(0.55 x 3600 ) = 4545 W = 3,39 HP = 4 HP
2. Q Pompa
Dimana : P = Daya yg diperlukan (KW)
K = Koefisien Kesalahan dlm perancangan (1,1-1,2)
Q = Debit (m3/min)
H = Tinggi (cm)


3. HTotal = Hstatis + Hdinamis + Hlosses
= 25 m + v2/2g + f L/D v2/2g
dimana : f : koefisien gesek pipa = 0.05
v : kecepatan = Q/a ; Q = 60 m3/jam, a : luas penampang pipa = 0.00785
D: diameter pipa = 4” = 0.1 m
Daya Motor = daya poros pompa : effisiensi pompa
