This Giulia GTAm Replica Bodykit Looks Good

Alfa Romeo sold all Giulia GTA and GTAms last year (500 units). Those who couldn't afford the limited-production model now have an alternative. The Italian bodyshop PariS'5 GaraGe offers a replica GTAm bodykit for all Giulia models.

The first tuned model debuted at Autodromo Varano in Italy. In a video by Aureus Car Spotlight, a yellow Giulia GTAm impersonator shares the track with a Brera-based Alfa Romeo GT-Sud Est.

It's hard to tell PariS'5 GaraGe's bodykit from the original. It has a redesigned bumper with larger intakes merging with the carbon-fiber splitter, extra holes around the scudetto grille, a vented bonnet, side skirt blades, wider front fenders with larger gills, rear fender extensions, a massive rear wing, and a large diffuser with dual exhaust pipes in the center.

The replica's rear wing is smaller, and the aftermarket tailpipes differ from the factory Akrapovi titanium exhaust. The 20-inch alloy wheels look good but lack the original's center-lock design. Only Alfa Romeo fans will notice the differences, and most will think you're driving a GTAm.

The team used a Giulia Quadrifoglio as a base, which is the closest to the GTA/performance. GTAm's Both models have a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 engine, but the Quadrifoglio has 503 hp and the GTA/GTAm has 532 hp. Quadrifoglio is widely available and cheaper than the limited edition.

The GTA/aerodynamics GTAm's and engine tune aren't the only differences from a regular Quadrifoglio. Special models have a more aggressive chassis setup and are up to 220 lbs (100 kg) lighter. Most differences aren't visible from the outside.

If you own a Giulia Quadrifoglio, the cost to convert it to a GTAm is €9,093 ($9,053) For lesser Giulia variants, the price goes up because you'll need extra parts. This isn't cheap for an aftermarket solution, but it's a fraction of the price of a genuine Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm, which sells for €250k in Europe.

The €9k kit includes a €1,990 front bumper, a €1,500 hood, €1,499 front fenders, €497 skirt blades, €599 rear fenders, a €699 rear wing, a €1,499 diffuser, and a €795 exhaust.

These are indicative prices for a composite bodykit, which may change due to rising costs. Kevlar bodykits cost 30% more, and carbon fiber is even more expensive.
