Software update optimizes and speeds up Skoda Enyaq iV's battery charging

Skoda has released the ME3 software update for Enyaq iV models.

The free software update can't be installed over-the-air or at home. Local Skoda retailers will contact Enyaq iV owners to schedule a free service appointment. Once ME3 is installed, over-the-air updates will be available.

ME3 update optimizes battery and charging. A new battery care mode limits charging to 80%, extending the battery's life. Maximum charging rate increases to 120 kW for 62 kWh batteries and 135 kW for 82 kWh batteries. Owners with 50 kW charging must upgrade with a Skoda accessory.

Skoda has also added charging and range graphics to the infotainment system, which displays the destination and charging stops. Virtual Cockpit and HUD have been updated.

A button on the steering wheel allows the driver to switch between Adaptive Cruise Control and Travel Assist.

All new Skoda Enyaq iVs come with ME3 software.

Skoda has delivered more than 70,000 Enyaq iV models, giving it a 3.5% share of the European all-electric vehicle market.
