Skoda previews Vision 7S interior

Skoda published a sketch of the Vision 7S concept's dashboard after showing us a blurry exterior image and an interior layout sketch. The fully electric SUV will likely preview Skoda's new "Modern Solid" design language.

The portrait-oriented infotainment touchscreen is the highlight. Skoda didn't reveal the screen size, but it looks bigger than previous models.

Thankfully, designers kept the climate controls in a separate section on the center console with actual knobs. Two large buttons and a rotating control are below the climate controls. Skoda has "special compartments for docking smartphones"

The steering wheel has four flattened spokes. One looks like a touchpad, while the rotating dials on both sides could let the driver control the infotainment without leaving the wheel.

A digital instrument cluster is also visible. The seven-seat, three-row electric concept will be fully electric.

Vision 7S debuts on August 30. Skoda is known for its teaser campaigns, so we wouldn't be surprised if it revealed more design sketches.

The Czech automaker is preparing to launch several new and updated models, including facelifts for the Scala, Kamiq, and Octavia and a new Superb sedan and Combi.
