NIO ET7 Fleet Headed to Europe

NIO plans to introduce its all-electric NIO ET7 flagship sedan in Europe by the end of the year, and the first batch has been sent.

Marcel Münch, who tracks NIO's progress, posted a video of NIO ET7 cars ready for shipping, likely at a Shanghai port.

The NIO ET7 debuted in January 2021 and went into production in March 2022. This year, 10,000 have been sold in China, and Europe is next.

The video shows at least 10 NIO ET7s waiting to ship.

In 2022, Germany will launch the NIO ET7. This plan was mentioned in September 2021 and seems doable.

NIO ET7 prototypes have been spotted in Germany, including Hannover and Munich.

NIO has been in Europe since 2021, when it launched the NIO ES8 SUV in Norway, but it won't be sold in other countries.

The NIO ET7 is slated for Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark.

The vehicle will be compatible with NIO's Hungary-made battery swap stations.

NIO uses 75 kWh, 100 kWh, and 150 kWh batteries.

The NIO ET7's reception in Germany and Europe, a highly competitive premium sedan market, remains to be seen.

To succeed, NIO will need an attractive price, good EV performance (range, power), and high-quality materials and features.

Not to mention the refreshed Tesla Model S (finally) and BYD Han in the future.
