All 2023 Subaru Forester trims cost $1,300 more than $27,620

For 2022, Subaru redesigned the Forester's design and technologies. The 2023 model's attributes won't change. Different pricing. After adding the $100 destination tax, all six trim levels priced $1,300 more than last year. These cars arrive in December.

All trims except Touring have one option package. 2023 pricing don't change. Base level includes 17-inch aluminum wheels and ladder-type roof rails that can support 700 pounds (318 kg)

The $1,165 Premium adds blind-spot recognition with lane-change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, automated emergency steering, two USB-A charging connections in the rear center console, and a motorized hatchback.

The Sport's $1,645 upgrade features reverse automatic braking, an 8.0-inch touchscreen screen, and a Harman Kardon sound.

The Wilderness can be upgraded for $1,850 with an 8.0-inch touchscreen screen, GPS, and a power hatchback.

The $1,695 Limited option pack includes reverse automatic braking, an 8.0-inch touchscreen screen with navigation, and a heated steering wheel.

The Forester has a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder with 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque. CVT drives all-wheel drive. The Wilderness can tow 3,000 pounds, up from 1,500. (1361 kilograms).
